 OBJECTIVE: I will create a webpage on how entertainment (music, photography, video or games) has been changed by the use of computer and digital technology

 1) ASSIGN YOURSELF: Excel X terms and H/O vocabulary due Next Thursday-Quiz Day. REMEMBER, Term must be defined, create a picture drawing if given in handout and color booklet. Use term in sentence if it does not have a picture. KEEP YOUR Homework schedule in your organized binder. Today you will gain an understanding of how computers store various types of data and to make it easier to work with different types of files, including ones containing text, graphics, sound, and video.  CHOOSE TOPIC FIRST: MUSIC, MOVIES, GAMES OR PHOTOGRAPHY!

Checklist for Your Web Page, Content:

1.    Be sure to research an area of entertainment that has been changed by the use of computer and digital technology (MUSIC, GAMES, MOVIES OR PHOTOGRAPHY ONLY!

2.    In a Web page, explain ways in which this area has been changed by the use of computers and digital technology

3.    Use easy-to-understand language in your document

Technology remember to:

Ø    Use a word processing application to create your Web page

Ø    Enhance your Web page by using color and different font sizes

Ø    Use graphics and hyperlinks to related Web pages to explain your ideas

Ø    View the document on your computer locally in your Web browser to make sure it was saved properly as a Web page

4) Independent Practice- Create a webpage based on their researched topic and create webpage in Word. Students will analyze how their topic has changed because of computer & digital technology. (30 MIN)
